A SPRINT with BLENNZ

Updated: Jun 24, 2019

Josi, Jen and I had a great time (fun, exhausting & inspiring is my construct of great time on this) facilitating a SPRINT co-design process with a group of committed and hard working folk from BLENNZ and beyond to design a Transition Offer for ākonga who are blind or low vision to move from school and out into their lives beyond school.

There were amazing ideas produced and prototypes not one but five worked up to test with ākonga and their whānau. We felt so privileged to be working with a group whose long term goal for was developed and remained central to the work throughout the week.

Long Term Goal:

''For ākonga to be the person they want to be, to live the life they want, to live with their kete full of skills, tools & knowledge and their whānau feeling"

Way to go team what a bunch of committed, innovative, fun, hardworking people you are.

It was a full on week. So much achieved in creativity and managing to get 5 prototypes ready for testing. Great.
